The University of Queensland (UQ) and the Australian government have backed Redback batteries as one of the most innovative start-ups. The heart of the Redback is a small management box which has been designed in Queensland that controls the system. Similar to the Alpha’s it uses a Goodwe inverter and Pylon tech batteries, but the Redback manager is supposedly the key to its success.
