The accreditations UV Power holds, what each one actually covers, and where you can check it for yourself. If it is not listed on this page, we do not claim it.
Seven accreditations. Three from the industry, four from manufacturers who have authorised us to sell, install or service their products. Each one is listed with the source it can be checked against.
Solar Accreditation Australia Accredited Installer
Solar Accreditation Australia (SAA) is the accreditation scheme operator appointed by the Clean Energy Regulator, taking rooftop solar accreditation over from the Clean Energy Council in May 2024. An installer has to hold SAA accreditation for a system to qualify for STC rebates.

New Energy Tech Approved Seller
The New Energy Tech Consumer Code sets the standard for how new energy products are sold, contracted and supported after installation. Approved Sellers are signatories to that code and are bound by it.

Smart Energy Council Member
The Smart Energy Council is Australia's independent peak body for solar, storage and smart energy, representing installers, manufacturers and retailers across the sector. Membership is an industry body membership rather than a technical accreditation.

Tesla Powerwall Certified Installer
Tesla certifies installers to install and commission its Powerwall home battery. It means Tesla has authorised us to fit that product, and it covers nothing beyond it.

GE Platinum Retailer
GE appoints retailers to supply and install its home energy products, Platinum being one of its retailer tiers. It is an authorisation from the manufacturer to sell and fit that range.

Fronius Service Partner
Fronius appoints Service Partners to carry out servicing and warranty work on its inverters. It means Fronius has authorised us to service its equipment, not only install it.

REC Solar Professional
REC runs the Solar Professional programme for installers it has trained and authorised to fit its panels. It is a manufacturer authorisation rather than an industry accreditation.

Installing a brand is not the same as being certified by it
UV Power installs equipment from a wide range of manufacturers, and you will see plenty of familiar logos on our product pages. In almost every case that is a statement of the range we supply and install. It is not a claim that the manufacturer has certified, endorsed or appointed us.
The four manufacturer accreditations above are the exception. Tesla, GE, Fronius and REC have each authorised us to sell, install or service their products, which is why they appear on this page. Every other manufacturer logo on this site should be read as equipment we install and nothing more.
