Sigenergy EV Chargers

Sigenergy makes two home chargers and we install both. The Sigen EV AC Charger goes on the wall like any other charger. The DC charging module stacks into a SigenStor battery and charges the car on DC, straight from the system. Either way, the car runs in the mySigen app with your solar and battery.

One Sigenergy system

Charger, SigenStor and app on the same team

Both chargers are built to work with a SigenStor, Sigenergy's battery and hybrid inverter in one stack. With a SigenStor at home, the wall charger can fill the car on solar the house isn't using, let the home battery help until it drops to a level you set, or go flat out at up to 22 kW from solar, grid and battery together. In Sigen AI Mode it puts your own solar first, and on a dynamic tariff it charges when power is cheap and stops when it's dear.

The DC charging module works differently. It slots into the SigenStor stack like another block, alongside the Sigen Energy Controller, and charges the car through a CCS2 plug at 12.5 or 25 kW. Sigenergy built it on the DC side of the system, so solar can go into the car directly.

Both show up in mySigen, the same app as your solar and battery. Start a charge, set a schedule or change modes, and see what the car has used next to the rest of the house.

The smart charging modes need a SigenStor, and load management (backing the charger off when the house is busy) needs a Sigen Power Sensor at the switchboard. The DC module only works inside a SigenStor, and with it fitted a stack holds up to 45 kWh of battery instead of 54. Sigenergy builds the DC module to send power back from the car too, but says that depends on the car and on standards still being published, so we don't sell it as a feature yet.
