GoodWe ESA (Energy Storage All-in-One)
The GoodWe ESA puts a hybrid inverter and stackable batteries in one tidy column, and GoodWe builds it to back up the whole house in a blackout. We fit it with GoodWe's 9 kWh battery modules: each one adds 9 kWh of storage and 4.5 kW of battery power, and one stack takes up to six. It comes in 3 to 10 kW single phase and 5 to 30 kW three phase.

- All-in-one: a GoodWe hybrid inverter (the power module) and the battery modules sit together in one stack, on the floor or on the wall
- Built for whole-home backup: the bypass is built in (up to 63 A on single phase, up to 80 A on three phase), so the whole house can stay on in a blackout, and it switches over in under 4 milliseconds
- In a blackout the house runs on the power module's backup output, its full rating (up to 10 kW single phase, 30 kW three phase) with extra for 10 seconds to start big appliances, so we size it to what you want to keep running
- 9 kWh battery modules (GW9.0-BAT-D-G20): 9.0 kWh each, 8.7 kWh of it usable, with LFP (lithium iron phosphate) cells
- Each 9 kWh module adds 4.5 kW of battery power, up to what the power module on top can deliver. One module gives you 4.5 kW and two give you 9 kW, so more modules means more of the house can run off the battery at once
- Up to six modules in one stack: 54 kWh (52.2 kWh usable). Up to twelve in one system, as two stacks: 108 kWh
- Power modules from 3 to 10 kW single phase and 5 to 30 kW three phase
- You can mix module sizes, and add new modules next to old ones later
- IP66 rated. The single phase power modules have no fan and are rated at 30 dB or less (35 dB on the 8 and 10 kW)
- Monitored in GoodWe's SEMS+ app, and the single phase ESA works with GoodWe's HCA G2 EV charger
- The 9 kWh battery module is on the Clean Energy Council's approved battery list
- 10-year warranty on the power module. The battery modules get 10 years on the product and 10 on performance: at least 70% of usable energy, or 3.0 MWh delivered for every usable kWh, whichever comes first
