In Queensland, the "Supercharged Solar for Renters Program" offers landlords rebates of up to $3,500 to install solar panels on rental properties, aiming to reduce tenants' electricity bills. This program, announced in April 2025, aims to save renters an average of $700 per year on power bills.
At the time of writing (May 2025), eligibility requirements for applicants, dwelling types and products had not yet been released, and were due ahead of the program launch later in 2025.
